The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of pome fruit crop or horticultural management with some postgraduate studies in Horticulture or Agricultural Production together with accredited vocational training and relevant industry licensing.

We have been involved in the Horticultural Industry for the last 10 years. Our primary focus is maintaining quality orchards and nursery. Most of our work is northern Victoria like Bendigo or Shepparton area. We are passionate about our work and look for quality people who will fit in with our culture.

Our teams are lead by well experienced Professional and experience horticulturists.

You will attend TAFE 1 day per week, and become a fully Qualified Horticulturist within a 4-year period.

We are looking for someone to start a new apprenticeship
In this role you will be:

  • maintaining fruit orchard nursery
  • learning all aspects of orchard works i.e. fruit picking, pruning, thinning, weeding and irrigations.
  • working in the Northern Victoria areas

Nursery Person (VIC)

With an ever increasing demand and a constantly growing business, we constantly seeking for experienced Nursery Persons in Northern regional area.

Duties will include: Propagating, planting and maintaining indigenous plants.

Applicants with nursery experience, especially in propagation general maintenance will be highly regarded.

Qualification: Diploma of Production Horticulture, Diploma of Production Nursery Management or 2 years related work experience in horticulture industry.

We need someone who firstly has the right attitude, a good work ethic and can work in a team environment and on occasions work individually, punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work in all weather conditions are essential

Operations Supervisor (VIC)

The Operations Supervisor vacancy at the fruit orchard offers suitably qualified candidates an outstanding opportunity for career progression.

With a knowledgeable and experienced management team to provide you with direction and support, you will be responsible for the employees’ safety and quality of the job being performed. Keeping records to support any issues that may arise and production efficiency of orchard.

Reporting to the Orchard Manager, you will have a solid understanding of farm operations with experience in:

  • Orchard and weed spray systems and machinery
  • Fertigation systems overview
  • Leading teams
  • Able to work under pressure and meet timelines

Most importantly you will have a demonstrated track record of achieving results and a safety mindset in addition to demonstrating the passion and drive to supervise your team through potentially long and complicated harvests.

Qualification: Diploma of Production Horticulture or 2 years related work experience in horticulture industry.
